A diamond of mirror set inside a corona of hand-cut flames, each one curling away from the glass at a slightly different angle so the whole piece reads as movement rather than pattern.
Left as bare timber, with the burnt line work close enough to the surface to feel it before you see it. It hangs on a fine chain, so it sits slightly proud of the wall and throws its own shadow.
